Ayrshire Precision Engineering is a well-established supplier of machined components to aerospace, Oil, automotive and general industrial markets. From our modern, well equipped factory (1000 square metres of floor space) in Ayrshire on the West Coast of Scotland we supply customers in Europe and the United States of America.
Our business was founded in 1969 and has expanded twice since it was established. The most recent expansion in 1996, added floor space to make room for a major investment in new CNC machine tools. New machining centres and CNC lathes were commissioned in 1997. Our most recent addition, a large CNC vertical lathe was commissioned in 2000. We have also recently modernised our information and data management systems to include ISDN lines, new CAD/CAM and business software, and new computer hardware. In addition, we have upgraded our process control and inspection capability with the acquisition of probing equipment and a Co-ordinate Measuring Machine. Most important of all, our employees are knowledgeable, productive and committed to the highest standards of quality. They are dedicated individuals who take pride in the work they perform.
